Developed at the Bell+Giro Dome in partnership with MIPS, Spherical Technology’s unique Ball-and-Socket Design redirects impact forces, bringing market-leading design, performance and brain protection together without compromising comfort, ventilation, weight or style.
Spherical technology combines two different materials, EPS & EPP to help better manage both high and low speed impacts. Its unique ball-and-socket design powered by MIPS helps redirect impact forces away from the brain by allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash.
Helmets with spherical technology are designed to draw heat away from your head with no obstruction to vents or interior channelling, resulting in maximum cooling efficiency.
THERMAL EXCHANGE AIRFLOW SYSTEM - EXTREME VENTILATION
This ventilation is so extreme, Bell named it the Thermal Exchange Airflow System™ (T.E.A.S.) because of how it sucks in cool air like a vacuum and then expels hot air through the side and rear exhaust ports. And as any rider knows, ventilation and sweat management go hand-in-hand.
NMR BUMPERS - NO MISSED RACES
It’s not just the interior of the Moto-10 that’s protecting you, it’s the exterior as well. Bell constructed two NMR™ (No Missed Races) bumpers on either side of the helmet. These bumpers are made with a softer EPP material that compresses under load but bounces back to its original form, helping to reduce the likelihood of further injury caused from the helmet contacting your body. While no crash is good, non-one wants a broken collar bone!

MAGNEFUSION™ CHEEK PAD EMERGENCY RELEASE SYSTEM
The Magnefusion™ magnetic cheek pads are easy to remove for washing and enable emergency responders to easily detach the cheek pads first before the helmet following an impact.
The Moto-10 was built for the fastest racers in the world, and every racer knows managing moisture is important mid race. With the combination of T.E.A.S., Spherical venting channels, and a segmented shell, Bell created not only industry-leading ventilation but also the ability to force perspiration across your brow - away from your goggles - preserving vision late in a race.
VIRUS™ COOLJADE LINER
To withstand the heat exchange and hard use, Bell added a Virus™ CoolJade liner. This removable, washable liner is made of fabric that has been infused with recycled jade to create a natural cooling effect. The ultra-wicking construction combined with CoolJade-infused yarn decreases your skin surface temperature as much as -12˚C - keeping you cool, comfortable, and focused on the race at hand.
FLYING BRIDGE VISOR
Not all visors are created equal. The Flying Bridge Visor design allows more flexibility and improves airflow across the helmet. By not using a traditional centre post and screw concept, Bell were able to increase the amount of energy management material in a high impact zone.
